NVR Checklist

Documents required for NVR:

Bangladeshi National (Adult/Minor)

1. Duly filled in application form

2. Original and photocopy of Australian Passport of applicant

3. Proof of Bangladeshi Nationality (original and photocopy): E-Passport/ MRP Passport/ NID/ Smart Card/ Online Birth Certificate. If the applicant does not have any of these, then MUST submit an Original Handwritten Passport along with Bangladesh Govt. originated Academic Certificates.

4. Payment Receipt (if payment is done via EFT)

Children born in Australia of Bangladeshi Parents

1. Duly filled in application form

2. Original and photocopy of Australian Passport of applicant

3. Proof of Bangladeshi Nationality of Parents (original and photocopy): E-Passport/ MRP Passport/ NID/ Smart Card/ Online Birth Certificate. If the applicant does not have any of these, then MUST submit an Original Handwritten Passport along with Bangladesh Govt. originated Academic Certificates.

4. Original and photocopy Australian Birth Certificate of the Children. If children are born in other countries, then birth certificate MUST be attested by respective country’s embassy/consulate/high commission and DFAT as well

5. Payment Receipt (if payment is done via EFT)

Australian/Foreign Spouse of Bangladeshi Adult

1. Duly filled in application form

2. Original and photocopy of Australian/Foreign Passport of applicant

3. Proof of Bangladeshi Nationality of Spouse (original and photocopy): E-Passport/ MRP Passport/ NID/ Smart Card/ Online Birth Certificate. If the applicant does not have any of these, then MUST submit an Original Handwritten Passport along with Bangladesh Govt. originated Academic Certificates.

4. Original and photocopy of Australian Marriage Certificate (attested by DFAT), Marriage Certificate issued from any other country should be attested by respective country’s embassy/consulate/high commission and DFAT as well. If marriage took place in Bangladesh, then the marriage certificate MUST be attested by MOFA.

5. Payment Receipt (if payment is done via EFT)

Non-Australian Bangladeshi Adult/Children

1. Duly filled in application form

2. Original and photocopy of Foreign Passport of applicant

3. Proof of Bangladeshi Nationality of applicants (original and photocopy): E-Passport/ MRP Passport/ NID/ Smart Card/ Online Birth Certificate. If the applicant does not have any of these, then MUST submit an Original Handwritten Passport along with Bangladesh Govt. originated Academic Certificates.

4. Proof of residency in NSW/QLD (original and photocopy): Drivers License/Age Card/Photo Card with residential address

5. Valid VISA GRANT NOTICE (except short visit or visitor visa)

6. Payment Receipt (if payment is done via EFT)

Note

1. All photocopies must be attested by JP/GP if the original copy is not showed over the counter.

2. No Name Change is accepted. All the documents submitted for processing MUST reflect the same name in all the supporting documents.

3. Passport collection time is between 3-4 PM, working days only.

4. If an adult applicant is unable to collect his/her passport, then an authorization letter from the applicant is required even if the applicant is the immediate family member.
